On-device Learning and Audio Sensing for Healthcare Seminar

Audio based sensing and AI has a huge potential in healthcare with the availability of cheap microphones and effectiveness of deep learning algorithms. In this talk, I would talk about some of the works i have been doing in this space. My talk would touch on unlocking the potential of audio - non speech and speech-based signals to diagnose covid-19 using AI, design of an earable system which utilizes ultrasound to let people with hearing loss communicate with hearing person (sign language) and developing new algorithms to make deep learning models learn continually on the device efficiently for audio sensing tasks such as emotion recognition and sound classification.
