Event details

ISVR Research Seminar by Dr. Mostafa Ranjbar, University of Cranfield.

In this talk, Dr. Ranjbar will present his experiences about the reduction of the structural borne noise without adding any extra mass to the system over a wide frequency range. At first, he will discuss the geometry modification of a rectangular plate for structural acoustic applications in automotive industry. Later, he will present the design of cellular vibroacoustic metamaterials for noise reduction, vibration filtering and vibration energy harvesting in aerospace and railway systems.
