The network is composed of scholars from the UK, France, and Spain, working broadly on twentieth-century European immigration history.
The members are working within a range of disciplinary contexts including, French Studies, Spanish and Portuguese Studies, and history. They have expertise in the following areas: political, social and cultural history of immigration in Britain, France and Spain; representations of immigrants in France during the twentieth century; the Spanish Republican exile in Britain, France, Latin America and the Soviet Union; the history and memory of warfare in Europe; the memory of migration; women’s memoirs; the history of religion and secularism; colonial history; international relations life-story data analysis.
