How to Apply for Social Sciences Study Abroad

To Apply

To apply for a Social Sciences Study Abroad programme, please visit the University's Study at Southampton webpage. Download the application form and follow the instructions.

Choosing your modules

In each semester, four modules are studied for a total of 60 CATS/30 ECTS points. You will be asked to list your preferred modules when you complete your study abroad application form. You are recommended to choose four modules and two reserve choices in each semester in case your first choice modules are unavailable for any reason or you experience timetable clashes. Visit our pathways webpage to find a full list of available modules.

Accommodation

The University offers a guarantee of accommodation for all international undergraduate students, including those on Social Sciences Study Abroad pathways. To be guaranteed accommodation, you must apply before the 1st August. We have a wide variety of halls of residence to suit every student’s needs. Detailed descriptions and prices are available on our Accommodation webpage.
