Malcolm received his BSc in physics with electronics from Bath (1982) and master’s degree in Biomedical Engineering from Surrey (2002).

He is a member of Health Sciences at The University of Southampton. Working for a number of years with the Neur-Rehab research group, using 3-dimensional motion analysis (Codamotion) to investigate body coordination during turning and motion sensors to predict falls in people with Parkinson’s and Stroke. Currently working in Skills and Simulation suit managing the technical staff and simulation equipment.

Research interests
