This year's annual Parkes lecture will be in the form of an interview with esteemed writer Eva Hoffman.  In conversation, Eva Hoffman will be asked to reflect on a range of themes with which she and her works have been associated, from exile, immigration and the Holocaust, to literature, music and time.  There will also be an opportunity for the audience to ask questions of their own.

Eva Hoffman is a writer and academic who has written such works as Lost in Translation: Life in a New Language (1989), The Secret (2002) and Time: Big Ideas, Small Books (2009).
