Dr Johanna Hjalmarsson delivers paper in Rome
Dr Johanna Hjalmarsson recently gave a paper on modern shipping law at the final conference of the PortusLimen project.
PortusLimen is a five-year project funded by the European Research Council, designed to explore the inter-connections between ancient Mediterranean ports to better understand the unprecedented degree of economic, social and political convergence achieved by the Roman empire. The multi-disciplinary conference took place at the British School at Rome on 29-30 January 2019.
