Are you interested in leading initiatives for social change?  Would you like to learn how social leaders run their organisations? What makes a good leader? This experiential course will provide you with theoretical and practical skills about alternative forms of leadership and practical knowledge about how to improve your social leadership, networking, and empathy skills for social impact. The sessions will include workshops on public speaking, attention management, managing teams, digital project management, and networking as well as sessions on different leadership frameworks and how to find your own leadership style. All  attendees will also receive access to online resources for each of the workshops and sessions.

The academics organising this topic is Dr Maria Villares-Varela, Lecturer in Sociology and Social Policy and Dr Pathik Pathak, Faculty Director of Social Entrepreneurship and Director of the Social Impact Lab.
