Miss Clelia Viecelli
Postgraduate Research Student
Clelia Viecelli is a doctoral researcher within Modern Languages and Linguistics at the University of Southampton.
Clelia holds a BA (Hons) in Ethno-Anthropological Disciplines from the University of Siena, Italy and an MSc in Social Anthropology from the London School of Economics and Political Science. Her PhD research project is an ethnographic account of the work and lives of female ‘natural’ wine producers in Italy. In particular, it investigates how nature and culture are conceptualised and negotiated in ‘natural’ winemaking, and how these wines reflect an alternative worldview marked by an acute sense of modernity and its complexities.
