Event details

Marking the end of Multidisciplinary Research Week, Dr James Dyke discusses multidisiplinary responses to global challenges facing the world's population.

The perfect storm is coming. The global population is projected to reach 8 billion by 2050, food and energy costs are rising, all critically exacerbated by climate change. How will you, your family, and the rest of humanity not only survive but prosper in this world?

This is arguably the greatest challenge that we and future generations face. Universities will play a key role in responding to these challenges both in terms of research and educating students.
