We will be holding a one-day cultural event on  Jewish-Christian relations, consisting of a series of short talks led by experts from within the Parkes Institute for the study of Jewish/non-Jewish Relations at the University of Southampton.

The Parkes Institute brings together academics from the variety of disciplines within the Faculty of Humanities including English, History and Modern Languages. These thought provoking and inspiring conferences provide you with the opportunity to learn and engage in discussion about this aspect of Jewish Studies from academics of international distinction.

The day will consist of a series of talks by experts from the Parkes Institute for the Study of Jewish/Non-Jewish Relations which includes academics from History, English and Modern Languages. The talks will explore the complexity of the relationship between Jews and Christians from Antiquity to the present day, examining a variety of social, religious, cultural and historical factors that impacted upon Jewish-Christian relations. There will be opportunities to discuss the material with the various speakers, and asking questions after each talk is very much welcomed.
