The Southampton Aims and Norms Research Project, led by Conor McHugh, Jonathan Way and Daniel Whiting, began in 2011-12 with a series of three workshops funded by the British Academy.

Building on the success of the workshops to date, we are pleased to announce that the series is set to continue with additional workshops scheduled for 2013, co-funded by the Centre for the Study of Mind in Nature at the University of Oslo, click here for further information.

The next workshop , supported by a conference grant from the Mind Association, is scheduled for January 2013. It will investigate the aims and norms of reasoning and will include presentations by Kieran Setiya (Pittsburgh), Clayton Littlejohn (KCL), Sasha Mudd (Southampton) and Anders Nes (Oslo).

Further details about this event, as well as further workshops, will appear in due course.
