Dr. Kurt Sylvan and Dr. Lee Walters have been awarded £5,300 to run three workshops on Social and Cultural Ontology.

They will be bringing in high profile researchers from America and the UK to discuss hot topics in the area and stimulate new research. Dr. Lee Walters has also been awarded an additional £3,900 from the British Society of Aesthetics for a conference on the ontology of fictional characters, which will nicely complement one of the three workshops on social and cultural ontology.
