The project team is supported by the Scientific Advisory Board members on technical matters. Professor Anna Nagurney (University of Massachusetts Amherst) will provide guidance on the application of Operational Research in Disaster Management. Professor Loo Hay Lee (National University of Singapore), who co-authored a textbook on Optimal Computing Budget Allocation (OCBA), will provide guidance on Optimisation-via-Simulation. Professor Maria Paola Scaparra, the director of the Centre for Logistics and Heuristic Optimisation at the University of Kent will advise us on the facility location optimisation and disaster management.
