Research interests

My research interests broadly focus on the detection and attribution of temporal changes in the Earth’s climate system and ecosystems. More specifically, I am interested in the detection of long-term changes, abrupt changes, and changes in variability, as well as understanding their drivers and explore their potential predictability. Ultimately, my goal is to develop a better understanding of climate change by analyzing observations and model outputs using state-of-the-art statistical methods. I am also interested in developing flexible and useful statistical tools suitable to monitor and study changes in the climate system and ecosystems.
