Natalie Staplin

Hi, I'm Natalie Staplin and I studied within Southampton Statistical Sciences Research Institute at the University of Southampton.

There have been many opportunities to attend courses in advanced topics in statistics, and I shall be presenting at my first international conference soon.

I first became interested in survival analysis in my final year as an undergraduate. I knew then that I wanted to do further studies in biostatistics. The project that I am doing with NHS Blood and Transplant appealed to me because of the real-life applications my work would have. I am so glad I continued my studies at Southampton – there is such a friendly and supportive atmosphere here.
