Ship Port Plaque Exchange
When new vessels visit a port first time it is customary to exchange ship and port plaques.
Today this traditional swap took place for the new Royal Research Ship Discovery, as it has now arrived in the Port of Southampton.
Associated British Ports was represented by Deputy Port Manager Clive Thomas, who exchanged Southampton's plaque with Discovery's Master Captain Bill Richardson.
