SMMI presence at Ocean Business 2017
The Southampton Marine and Maritime Institute (SMMI) will be representing the University of Southampton at Ocean Business 2017 which runs from 4-6 April 2017.
Ocean Business is now firmly established as an unmissable international event for ocean technology, with almost 40% of visitors coming from abroad. Each Ocean Business show has seen a substantial increase in visitors with the 2015 show seeing a remarkable 29% increase in visitor numbers.
As with previous shows, Ocean Business is a hands-on ocean technology exhibition and training forum, to be held at the National Oceanography Centre, Southampton, UK. The event incorporates an international ocean technology exhibition running in parallel with live demonstration and training sessions, Offshore Survey: a technical conference and Ocean Careers: an interactive careers event.
Our stand will create a strong presence amongst the industry manufacturers and service providers represented at the exhibition, not least through its large screen where we will display information about the University’s expertise, projects, facilities and engagement opportunities as a rolling slide show.
