THE SEVEN BILLIONTH CITIZEN
John Gillett and Beth Harland , Maria Lucia Cattani and Nick Rands, Naoya Hatakeyama, James Muriuki, Ayman Ramadan, Yang Yang.
A video project curated by John Gillett and Beth Harland, in response to the United Nations announcement of the birth of the seven billionth citizen. The project was organized in collaboration with the ESRC Centre for Population Change, University of Southampton, and Townhouse Gallery, Cairo, with funding from the University of Southampton's Faculty of Social and Human Sciences, the Faculty of Business and Law, and the Multidisciplinary Research Strategy.
Exhibition continues 3 May-15 June 2013
The Exhibition will be opened by Professor Jane Falkingham, Director of the ESRC Centre for Population Change, University of Southampton.
