Conference: Students and Businesses Transforming their City

This free conference on Tuesday 15 September 2015 will inspire and equip staff, students and businesses to deliver sustainability projects and solutions. Throughout the day we will explore how universities and students’ unions can foster a partnership approach to sustainability and the positive impacts such collaborations achieve - empowering students for action, benefiting the local community, and improving university and students’ union reputations nationally. The day will begin with a keynote by Jamie Agombar from NUS, winner of the 2014 Inspiring Leader of the Year in the Guardian University Awards. Other contributions will include the award-winning sustainability partnership from the University of Southampton Students’ Union and the University of Southampton, as well as networking opportunities throughout the day.
