At this series event, run by Southampton Hub, Emma Bacon from Teach First is coming to host a session on educational disadvantage.
Teach First is an independent educational charity which believes that how much a person achieves in life should not be determined by how much their parents earn.
They seek to address educational disadvantage by placing exceptional graduates with leadership skills into schools facing challenging circumstances.
Emma, Graduate Recruitment Officer at Teach First, will host the session. There will be a presentation, followed by a discussion on educational disadvantage and the many economic and social problems that affect young people's life chances in the UK today.
