Krishnakumar Ramachandran (KKR)--educator, author, consultant, traveller, and director of one of India’s leading management institutes--designs and implements breakthrough forums for the comprehensive development of business students.
Committed to their success on both personal and professional levels, he mentors, coaches and advises; creates original materials for the classroom; advocates strengths-based performance; engages dynamic public speakers; maintains a busy marketing site for student use ( brandthinkmarketingdo.com) ; consults on a variety of management issues both inside and outside academia; and contributes education-themed articles to publications worldwide.
A passionate traveller, KKR combines his interest in other cultures with the pursuit of academic enrichment wherever he goes. His numerous conference presentations, coupled with his many publications, have attracted widespread international attention. He has received awards from the World Education Summit (administered through the U.S, Department of Commerce); the World Management Congress; and most recently, the U.S. Fulbright Professional Development Program for University Administrators.
KKR holds a double PhD: the first in Marketing Management from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, India; the second in Business Administration and Management from Anna University, Chennai, India. He has also completed certifications in Entrepreneurship through the London School of Business; Case Method Teaching through Harvard Business Publishing; Strengths-Coaching through Gallup; and many others.
KKR sometimes feels he has only just started on his quest: forging a model of business education that is both humanistic and rigorous—and that might better build strong business leaders quickly.
