Ms Sara Campin
Student Enterprise Consultant
Sara Campin’s role as Student Enterprise Consultant is to help students realise and fulfil their entrepreneurial ambition. This is centred around fostering essential skills, facilitating connections between students and experts and offering 1:1 advice and guidance to students who aspire to set up their own business, become freelance, lead a social enterprise or launch a startup.
Sara started her career as an IT and then strategy consultant for the life sciences industry, delivering a wide range of strategic projects for European and Global pharma. With a passion for impact, Sara then made the move in-house, to work on Cancer Research UK’s research strategy, facilitating robust strategic decisions on the charity’s investment priorities and strategic approach to cancer research.
Sara subsequently began her entrepreneurial journey, firstly as a freelance strategy consultant, before starting a 1:1 coaching business and then going on to create and launch a multidisciplinary mental well-being app for mothers. Having founded multiple businesses herself, Sara can provide valuable insights and perspective into the ups and downs of running your own business and life as a business founder.
For her Specialist Practitioner role, Sara draws on her own experience of being a freelancer and mental health tech startup founder:
