Researchers' Cafe and Public Engagement Showcase tomorrow

The Researchers’ Café is holding its next event tomorrow afternoon as part of the Festival of Doctoral Research.

Researchers’ Café events are always free to attend and are informal – all are welcome to come along and you can listen or join the discussion.
The topics for this Festival edition of Researchers’ Café are:
16:15 - Deltas: sustainable environments or Atlantis? - Frances Dunn
17:00 - The quantum tech revolution - Nathan Shammah
17:30 - Drones, celebrities and privacy - Paulina Sikorska
18:00 - How to take part in Researchers' Café and other options for engaging the public - Tony Curran
Running alongside the Café tomorrow afternoon, there will be an Engagement Showcase .
This drop-in event, also on the SUSU Concourse from 16:00 – 18:00, will offer a taste of different engagement and outreach activities and a chance to see how the University’s research is taken out to the public.
If you are a doctoral researcher, the showcase will also give you the chance to discover more about the groups and networks which can support you to engage beyond your research group, discipline area and the University.
