Victoria is a Research Fellow in Human Factors Engineering within Engineering and Physical Sciences at the University of Southampton.

Victoria’s primary research interest centres on agent-based modelling of complex systems operating at varying levels of autonomy and the subsequent validation of these models through simulation and user testing.

During the completion of her EngD, Victoria worked closely with Jaguar Land Rover in the design and development of automated driving features using a mix of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies. She worked as a ‘Human Factors Specialist’ for the vehicle manufacturer following the completion of her doctorate and then as a Research Fellow in Automotive Human Factors at the University of Nottingham until July 2017.

She is currently working on the Open Flight Deck exploring ways to optimise the future aviation environment.
