Centre for China-UK Audiology Education CUAE

The mission of CUAE is to promote the sharing of educational principles and practice in audiology between our two countries for the benefit of people with hearing and balance impairment, their families and their societies.

CUAE was established in 2016 initially through a partnership between the School of Biomedical Engineering, Capital Medical University (Beijing, China), the Institute of Sound & Vibration Research, University of Southampton (UK) and TingLi Ltd. Within it’s first year, CUAE facilitated visits by seven students and several academics and clinicians between the two countries. The goal of CUAE's second year is to grow the number of partners, the range of activities and visits, and the impact on our students’ education and graduate opportunities.
