Open to students whose home university has a formal partnership with the University of Southampton Law School.
Our exciting programmes will prepare you for a career in the legal profession and beyond. Our courses are academically rigorous, informed by the latest research and taught with enthusiasm by leading academics.
You will be part of a close-knit, academic community. As a relatively small law school, we offer a supportive learning environment to ensure you achieve your personal and academic ambitions.
Studying abroad can boost your career opportunities, aid your cultural awareness and help you start your global network of friends and professional contacts.
You will undertake the first part of your undergraduate programme in your home university and then come to Southampton Law School for your final year of undergraduate study to develop your understanding of the common law.
Subject to the requirements of your university, Study Abroad students are free to choose any modules to a total of 120 credits over one year study on the LLB programme at the University of Southampton.
We suggest that you consider the modules below if you are interested in commercial and maritime law.
