The internal migration of ethnic groups in the UK, 2000-01 Seminar

This presentation uses commissioned data from the 2001 Census of Population to explore differences in the internal migration propensities and patterns of different ethnic groups across Great Britain at local authority district scale, to identify whether immigrants in 2000-01 were choosing destinations in London where established immigrants were concentrated and to reveal relationships between ethnic population concentration, internal migration, immigration and deprivation at the wards scale in London
