Mobilising women - accessing infrastructure through and beyond digital networks  Seminar

In this seminar, I will be sharing initial insights from fieldwork in Dhaka, Bangladesh and Delhi, India on women living in informal urban settlements and navigating access to state services that are swiftly transitioning from analogue to digital platforms. The initial insights are based on data from mapping and ethnographic methods - and seek to develop a comparative and intersectional feminist enquiry into contemporary modes of postcolonial urban governance, infrastructure and citizenship.
