A member of the ISLNE research team recently visited the Signal and Information Processing Lab at the University of Aalborg to give an invited seminar and act as external examiner during a PhD defense .

Dr Jordan Cheer was invited to visit the Signal and Information Processing Lab at the University of Aalborg in Denmark to act as the external examiner for the PhD Defense of Martin Møller, whose thesis was entitled 'Sound Zone Control Inside Spatially Confined Regions in Acoustic Enclosures'. During his visit, Dr Cheer also gave a seminar on 'The Control of Reflection and Scattering using Active Acoustic Cloaking'. This seminar presented research from the ISLNE programme related to the PhD work of Kristian Hook, Charlie House and Joe Tan. During his visit, Dr Cheer was also able to visit the laboratory facilities at the Signal and Information Processing Lab, which include anechoic and reverberation chambers and listening rooms.
