ISLNE researcher Xander Pike recently presented some of his work at the 181st Meeting of the Acoustical Society of America in Seattle, Washington.

The Acoustical Society of America holds biannual meetings to discuss the latest research across a wide range of topics within sound and vibration. The conference included invited papers, tutorials, social events and technical committees, and attracts delegates from across the globe.

Xander presented his research at the conference, which was entitled ""Feedforward Active Noise and Vibration Control of Systems with Primary Path Nonlinearities using LMS, Multilayer Perceptrons, and Recurrent Neural Networks". This work compares the performance of three different feedforward active control systems, when the primary source path contains nonlinearities.
