University of Southampton LLM students meet industry leaders in London
LLM students were invited to London by the Joint Marine Claims Committee to visit the London Insurance market and to meet insurance practitioners.
The trip was organised by Director of Postgraduate Programmes for Southampton Law School, Dr Ozlem Gurses.
Students visited Lloyd’s of London and the RSA London office, and were given presentations by Paul Saunders of Braemar, Jonathan Evans and David McKie of Kennedys Law LLP, they also had the opportunity to meet with brokers and members of the JMCC Under 35s.
The presentations were informative and engaging. The presenters and members of JMCC Under 35s provided excellent insight into their careers and how we can accomplish our career goals in the maritime law field.
