New NCA exam exemption for Canadian Students
The National Committee on Accreditation (NCA) is a standing committee of the Federation of Law Societies of Canada, has just confirmed that students commencing their LLB studies at Southampton in the 2016/17 academic year will be exempt from the NCA Business Organisations exam.
The NCA has stated that the University of Southampton’s Year 2 Equity and Trusts module covers this content in satisfactory detail – meaning one less NCA exam for Canadian students (provided that the mark achieved in this module meets the NCA academic performance criteria). Please check with the NCA for further information about the criteria.
