Law School academics publish personal data paper in Wisconsin International Law Journal

Dr. Sophie Stalla-Bourdillon and Alison Knight's new paper entitled 'Anonymous Data V. Personal Data—A False Debate: An EU Perspective on Anonymization, Pseudonymization and Personal Data' is now available on the SSRN website and will shortly be published in Wisconsin International Law Journal.
This paper tackles the difficult issue of how to demarcate the scope of EU data protection law. It focuses upon the fundamental concepts of anonymisation, personal data and pseudonymisation and proposes a dynamic approach to anonymisation and data protection as a whole.
A short version of the paper was presented at the Brussels Privacy Hub on 8 November 2016 and at the Computers Privacy and Data Protection (CPDP) Conference on 25 January 2017 (visit Youtube for a video of the panel ).
