Law School students tour Telegraph Media Group with alumnus

A recent visit to the Telegraph Offices in London was organised by the Law School. The group of Second and Third year LLB students met with Paul Vickers, Editorial Legal Director at the Telegraph Media Group. He is an Alumnus of the Law School.

During their time the students received a short talk on the history of The Telegraph, a tour of the offices and a presentation by Paul to explain what his job entails and more broadly the role of an in-house lawyer.

Third year student Michelle Rance said of the visit “Paul Vickers was very interesting, he has had a very exiting career and it was inspiring to hear his journey and also learn about the type of work he does in the Telegraph. It was a good opportunity to learn more about the role of an in-house lawyer. I really enjoyed the trip, thank you for organizing it”

Paul Vickers enjoyed meeting the students and said "They were a group of clearly bright and enthusiastic people who asked intelligent and challenging questions"
