Law Academic invited to speak at IMO Conference
Robert Veal, Lecturer in Law, recently spoke at the International Maritime Organization (IMO) earlier this month on the subject of product liabilities emanating from autonomous technology in shipping.
The IMO is the specialist United Nations agency charged with the safe regulation of world shipping.
The presentation was part of the Comité Maritime International (CMI) Joint Unmanned Ships / Cyber Security Sub-Committee Meeting held at IMO HQ in London on 9 November.
