Dr Eleonora Rosati is the new Director of iCLIC/ILAWS

As of November 2018, Dr Eleonora Rosati (Associate Professor in Intellectual Property Law) is the new Director of iCLIC and ILAWS. Dr Rosati takes over from Prof Sophie Stalla-Bourdillon (Professor of Information Technology Law and Data Governance), who has successfully led the centre for the past few years.

ILAWS was established as a research centre in 2006 to examine the legal issues, problems and opportunities associated with the Internet, the web and digital technology. It's academics research key areas of IT and intellectual property law, writing textbooks and articles for leading journals. They work closely with colleagues in the University of Southampton and beyond in disciplines such as cyber security, psychology, web science etc.
