Premiere Performance by Angela Space
Southampton's Head of Performance, saxophonist Angela Space, travelled to Columbia, South Carolina (USA) to participate in the Biennial Conference of the North American Saxophone Alliance.
As soprano saxophonist with the Pioneer Saxophone Quartet she performed the premiere of a new work by BMI award-winning composer Stephen Danyew. In addition to her performance, Dr. Space gave a lecture on signt-reading methodologies, based on research completed for her doctoral dissertation.
