Sunday Mornings with David Owen Norris
Professor David Owen Norris, Head of Keyboard Studies, presents Radio 3's Sunday Morning (10am till 12 noon) from October 25th till November 15th.
The themes of the four shows are: Music for Drama, with guest Matthew Scott, musical director of the National Theatre and composition lecturer at Southampton (25 October); the Music of Wessex and the South, with guest Sarah Baldock, organist of Chichester Cathedral (1 November); Remembrance, Dreams and Fantasies, with a visit to the Cenotaph at 11am (8 November); and Arrangements and Transcriptions, with guest Wiebke Thormalen, School of Humanities Research Fellow at Southampton (15 November). Norris is enriching the scripts with new information from colleagues' current research here at Southampton.
