Songs, poems and pictures telling the story of Elgar's life
The programme uses songs, poems, and pictures to tell the story of Elgar’s complex and touching emotional life, and includes newly discovered pieces. Amanda Pitt and David Owen Norris’ recordings and performances of these songs have received critical acclaim. Classic FM Magazine noted, ‘Elgar would have approved’.
