We’re looking forward to welcoming special guests to the John Ireland Prize: Professor Vince Emery, the generous donor of the prize, and David Wordsworth, the director of the John Ireland Trust.
Our guests, alongside Professor
David Owen Norris
, Head of Keyboard Studies, will judge the competition, running for the second time by the Music Department at Southampton and due to include student performances of the celebrated 20th century, English composers piano pieces, songs and the Clarinet Sonata.
