The culmination of PLAYLIST’s 2017-2018 ACE-funded series will be in the atmospheric artists’ studios The Arches beneath Central Bridge and it again features a variety of connections with the Music Department.
Steeped in local history this feels a fitting venue to explore both old and new repertoire. Expect exquisite solo Bach from London-based flautist Pasha Mansurov, a PLAYLIST commissioned new work for bass flute and percussion by Australian composer and Teaching Fellow in Composition Drew Crawford, Gigue (for dance mat) by Anna Meredith performed by percussionist Sam Wilson and a stripped down acoustic set by local, progressive rock band (with graduates from the Music Department) A Formal Horse.
