The Planeterrella visits the INTERACT conference

The planeterrella was invited to the INTERACT conference by the STFC on 14 September.

INTERACT was a symposium for those involved in public engagement for the physical sciences, and a broad range of attendees were present, from representatives of public engagement organisations to academics who work on public engagement in parallel with their research. It was a thrill to be invited by our funding body, and even more of a thrill to engage with professionals in the field. A personal highlight was showing the planeterrella to Jim Al-Khalili and Alice Roberts, both titans of public engagement who have done a lot to bring science to the wider public. We’re looking forward to being able to put some of what we learned into practice!
