New ESRC funded centre launches short courses and invites applications for Assistant Director

The new ESRC-funded Administrative Data Research Centre for England (ADRC-E) based at the University of Southampton, is pleased to announce its first series of short courses, open to all, which are being organised as part of the CASS short courses programme.

  2. Introduction to Data Linkage, 6 Jun 2014 , London & 12 Sept 2014, Southampton, by Dr Katie Harron, 1 day course
  3. Data Linkage and Analysis of Linked Data , in advance of the Research Methods Festival, Oxford, 7 July 2014, by Professor Natalie Shlomo, 1-day course
  4. Administrative Data , 17 July 2014, London & 25 Sept 2014, Southampton, by Dr Briony Moses, Office for National Statistics, 1-day course
  5. Analysis Methods of Linked Data , 20-21 October 2014, Southampton, by Professor Shlomo, 2-day course


Further London events in the autumn led by Professor Dearden and Dr Rebecca Allen will include an Introduction to the National Pupil Database, Quantitative Analysis using the National Pupil Database and Using Administrative Data to Analyse the Impact of Policy Initiatives.
