Hi, I'm Becky and I'm the Committee Secretary

Having worked in pharmaceutical marketing for a couple of years, before seeing the light and returning to uni to study medicine, I have a strong interest in clinical research. However, so far I have only seen big bad pharmas' side, and so I am looking to expand my horizons and learn more about what goes on within the medical school, as well as areas I could potentially get involved with as a medic in my career.

As secretary for INSPIRE, I am looking to help students feel like they can get involved. I feel that academic medicine is still hard to access, with students believing that they don’t have the time, skills or knowledge to get involved and I hope to help squash these fears.
