Sailing Success for Bursary Athlete
Bursary Athlete comes third in the Italian Sailing Championship.
The Italian Sailing Championships were held in Laono, Italy, from 9th-12th September and one of our bursary students, Laura Marimon Giovannetti was there. Despite very light winds making the race difficult, she managed to arrive third.
Laura, who is studying for a PhD at the University, is in receipt of our Silver Bursary which provides support to her to reach the top of her sporting field.
