Local pubs and restaurants

  • The Crown Inn - Traditional archaeologists' haunt. One indoor table for twenty people has been booked for TAG on the 19th December from 8:30pm (last orders or food at 9.30pm).
  • Brewhouse and Kitchen - Microbrewery & gastropub. An area has been set aside for TAG on the evening of 19th December (last orders for food at 9.30pm).
  • The Stiles - Very close to the Plenary session! (last orders for food 9pm)
  • The Cowherds - Busy but reasonably close (last orders for food 10pm)
  • Dock o’ the Bay - Nice little restaurant on the way to the centre of town (last orders for food 9.15pm)

The Portswood area (Portswood Road) has a wide range of pubs and restaurants available, e.g. The Mitre , Trago Lounge , 7Bone Burger Co ., Kohinoor of Kerala to name but a few and then there are so many more in the centre of town.
