Read the Nature Physics Comment piece by Turing Fellow and Deputy Programme Director for Health and Medical Sciences Ben MacArthur

In the piece: Truth and beauty in physics and biology Ben discusses that although physicists and biologists have different conceptions of beauty, a better appreciation of these differences may bring the disciplines closer and help develop a more integrated view of life. He says that "Differing views on beauty have implications for how we approach science and what we consider a good ‘explanation’. Alan Turing’s theory of morphogenesis is a relevant example."
