The School of Engineering Sciences has an exciting portfolio of undergraduate and postgraduate taught courses. Opportunities also exist to undertake postgraduate research within one of our eight cutting edge research groups. A variety of continuing professional development (CPD) are also available.

The School of Engineering Sciences is actively trying to raise awareness by giving school age pupils an opportunity to experience university level engineering and hence to appreciate the variety of exciting engineering careers available.

The School of Engineering Sciences, University of Southampton success in the RAE 2008 builds on the outstanding 5* rating obtained in 2001, and now the Guardian League tables have rated SES No 1 in the UK 2010, and 100% approval from students! Amazing achievement
