We are committed to working closely with external organisations as partners in research and as providers of knowledge and expertise through consultancy and professional development.
Many organisations, such as Logical Transport, the Royal National Lifeboat Institution, Worldspreads, London Capital Group and Star Financial Systems, have sought our expertise to support projects through a Knowledge Transfer Partnership scheme. We have also carried out more general consultancy with organisations including the Lloyds Banking group and various NHS trusts.
Organisations can tap into the skills and knowledge of our high-calibre masters students via our in-depth investigations scheme. Under the scheme, 50 short projects a year are sponsored by clients from all industrial sectors, including small and medium-sized enterprises, large multinationals and public sector bodies.
Our links with external organisations include providing continuing professional development designed for the specific needs of the organisation, for example, providing courses on statistical analysis for HM Revenue and Customs. We frequently undertake specialist courses in decision modelling, credit scoring, risk analysis and project risk management.
